BUSCA BUSCAJA, TRISTA E CANAJA

DAY 1:

Arrival in the morning at Busca and accommodation. Free visit of the city centre. Busca is located on the Maira river and it’ surrounded by the hills. The downtown develops on the main street, Via Umberto I, which is in part porticoes. You can visit the numerous churches like SS. Trinità church, also known as “ La Rossa”. Inside it’s kept on safe a votive chapel dedicated to the Virgin “the Madonnina” who, as the popular tradition tells, set the town free from the pestilence in 1745. Not to be missed, beyond the parish church, the San Sebastiano and Santo Stefano chapels, that have beautiful frescoes. Dinner and overnight stay

DAY 2:

Visit of the pastry Fagiolo Peirano in Busca. They produce a wide range of innovative products about the history of Busca and its origins. At the end of the tour there will be a chocolate tasting. In the afternoon visit of Saluzzo. This Town looks like a village on the hill during the 13th century: narrow roads, churches, noble palaces with their own garden characterize the city center. The town is always watched over by the King of Stone: The Monviso. You will have the possibility to visit the town, most of all the old part of it. Return to Busca, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY3:

Visit of the Roccolo castle. It was built in 1831, wanted by the marquis Roberto Tapparelli d’Azeglio. It’s inspired by the Neo-Gothic style. There’s a big garden in romantic style with a lake, small falls and a scenic walkway. You will enjoy the stunning view of the town from the top of the monumental greenhouse. Lunch and return journey.
